Year 6 / Year 7 Maths Starters Consolidation

- Ideal for pupils in year 6 (last year of junior school) and year 7 (first year at secondary school);
- 50 sheets of questions with answers (each lasting 10-15 minutes);
- CD ROM with the files in pdf format for further printouts;
- Email service to the author.
This pack has mostly level 4 questions (the level expected for most 11 year olds). In addition there are level 5 questions to extend the more able. This pack is also ideal for pupils in Year 7: during the summer break between primary to secondary, most pupils tend to forget skills and knowledge. Thus, the Year 6 / Year7 Maths Starters Consolidation pack will remind pupils of the good mathematical work they did in year 6.
Year 8 Maths Starters

- Written for the majority of pupils aged 12/13 at secondary school;
- 45 sheets of questions with answers (each lasting 10-15 minutes);
- CD ROM with the files in pdf format for further printouts;

This pack has mostly level 5 questions, extending pupils who achieved a level 4 at key stage 2. Some level 6 questions are also included, to challenge the more able. The format and wording of questions is similar to the Year 6/7 pack.

Using the revision papers will give your child further opportunities to familiarise themselves with typical SATs questions in terms of the wording, layout and diagrams.
Answer books are also supplied so that you can precisely mark the papers to the same standard as actual test markers do. From this you can determine which National Curriculum level your child is currently working at.

Maths Starters 100% Level 8 has been written exclusively for able Year 9 pupils who show particular talent in mathematics – and we do stress the material is certainly challenging (generally pupils in a “top maths set”). The questions are written to a standard very similar to actual tests, by a teacher who has many years teaching at both primary and secondary level. All questions are set at level 8 (the highest National Curriculum level).
Answer books are also supplied so that you can precisely mark the papers to the same standard as actual test markers do. From this you can determine which National Curriculum level your child is currently working at.
